Week 9

 This internship has opened my eyes to possibilities beyond architecture. I have noticed how much i love to work with the visuals. I have enjoyed doing something other than architecture.
  At the same time i have been going through the college experience. I have been learning of how hard it is to become and architect. The programs are so competitive and you have to be in the top of the class if you want to make it in to the third year of architecture. There are grade pint requirements and then you will be picked based on your portfolio. These are things I know i can overcome and succeed but if for some reason i cant there are other less competitive fields that I would still be interested in.

Week 8

I have not gotten board of going to my internship. Every time I go, there is something interesting to do. We are either going in to the failed doing interviews and taking pictures, or in the office learning strategies, or about PNN. Like any thing you do there are times when it was a little slow but that was very rare.
  I started audio editing at this is a very tedious task. It requires full attention, and it takes up a lot of time. It is not my favorite thing to do in the world. I have noticed that i am more of a visual person and editing audio doesn't compared to editing video.

Week 7

  We have gotten all the adio we need from Stewart, Angela, Susan, and Mr. Wells. I belive that Julio has started editing and he gave me some files wich i will start to edit. I have teken most all my pictures and i will only have to go back one more time to get some final pictures in.
  The presentation date is not exact to me, I have to talk to julio because he would be the one that would know. I am looking forward to finishing this little year book thing. I think that at the presentation, wich will probly be at PNN, Lauren and Jennifer will be there as well as Julio, David and I.

Week 6

  Because i was doing my internship with Julio and David we had to work together as a team to get almost everything done. I think that collaborating productively was a skill we all had to use. We had to collaborate productively in the field as well as in the office. When we went out we to do interviews we divided the work up. David was in charge of caring and sating up the audio recording device(s). Julio would drive because he had the car, he would also create the interview with the help of me and David. I was in charge of the camera, and getting all the pictures to support the interview. When we would arrive i would get to work and David would set up as Julio pulled the interviewee aside to be interviewed in a more quiet area. Julio would do the interview David would pack up and we were out of there.

Week 5

  This week I did not attend my internship because i was in Oregon  visiting a few Colleges. We have started our work on the final projects by collecting some interviews and taking some pictures. I will have to start audio editing and i will also take some more pictures. In the next five weeks if i can take pictures of all the interviewees and some campus pictures it would be perfect. I also have to finish my audio editing but that should be easy. 

Week 4

  I think that this is a very interesting artical. I can see why it was picked. It suports Envision schools reason for being. I think that this is a very intlegent consept. That two people can learn the same thing but how they learn it will determin how they aply it to use it. If schools are made to teach the same thing in a way that will encourage students to use what they have learned more eficiently it would be a good change.

  I belive that internships are a good way of learning. I would compare an internship to how I learned to ride a bike. I kenw i going to learn to ride a bike and when i sat on it i had no idea what to do. Then my brother pused me down the hill and i had to learn realy realy quick. That is how i would descride an iternship that you have never done.

Week 2

I have decided to intern at PNN. Because I could not find an internship with an architect, I decided to explore a more artistic field. I will hopefully be working with design guy in the company. He does his work mainly on Photoshop which i have some experience with. I am hoping to create some cool graphics that the company could use as advertising or a logo, or just making the web site look better. This would also help me in the future because Photoshop is an important part of selling architectural projects.

Week 1

  I have had some trouble finding an architectural firm that i can intern at. Most firms want me to submit a resume on the experience i have had with architecture. I have to finish the resume and send it out. Another problem that presented it self was when i called a firm in San Francisco. They told be that they had already gotten some interns from Berkeley. I believe it has been harder to find an internship because i have a more specific internship that i am searching for. If i can not find an internship at a firm I have already talked to some novato architects that have an Italian style to their architecture that seems like it could be fun.
